This is a Heritage breed and the Brier Island Lodge has a flock on their farm. I buy my wool from them and I teach how you prepare it right off the sheep right down to spinning it. Come experience an encounter with Victoria, as she can help you understand why it was important to have sheep wool for many things, not just hooking a rug! You will have hands on with all of the processing and you will come away with a deeper appreciation for the work that our ancestors had to do and why it was done that way!
